That the Parliament congratulates Councillor and former Inverclyde Provost, Luciano (Ciano) Rebecchi, who is standing down at the Local Government Elections 2022 after being first elected in 1988, on being recognised by Children in Poverty Inverclyde for his service to the community; understands that Ciano has been a long-standing supporter of the charity and that over the last four decades, he has worked hard to support constituents in his ward and across Inverclyde; further understands that even in his retirement from local government politics, Ciano will continue to advocate for his community, and wishes him all the best and a long and happy retirement.
