Former Bearsden Footballer Heads to Brazil to Volunteer

That the Parliament commends the efforts of professional footballer, Sam Wardrop, from Bearsden, who it understands, has taken a career break to volunteer in the Favelas of Rio in Brazil, and understands that the International Volunteer HQ project will assist Sam in helping children gain free football coaching along with physical education, mental support and opportunities to improve social skills and interact with teachers from around the world.
