That the Parliament notes that 26 September 2021 is International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, which was established by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to advance public awareness and government action to prevent nuclear war and to achieve a nuclear weapons free world; understands that the President of the UNGA will host a high-level plenary meeting on 28 September 2021, where over 80 presidents, prime ministers and defence or foreign ministers, as well as two members of civil society and two young climate activists, will put forward their plans and proposals for nuclear disarmament, and further understands that the event will be broadcast live on UNTV.
