That the Parliament congratulates Lyon and Turnbull and its staff, in particular its expert in rare manuscripts and books, Cathy Marsden, on the meticulous professional work leading to the successful identification of a rare stone facsimile copy of the American Declaration of Independence, and acknowledges the importance of such professional expertise held within the various auction houses and art galleries, both public and private, in Scotland to the art world, as well as its wider importance to the economic and cultural success of Scotland.
