Wishing Kenny Slater a Happy Retirement

That the Parliament congratulates Kenny Slater on his recent retirement as both the NFU Scotland Orkney Group Secretary and the NFU Mutual Orkney Agent; acknowledges that Kenny has been at the helm of NFU Scotland in Orkney for 23 years; recognises his dedicated service to representing Orkney’s farming industry at a local and national level; acknowledges what it sees as the vital work of NFU Scotland in standing up for the interests of farming communities such as those in Orkney; recognises the high regard in which Kenny is held by farmers of all ages in the islands, and wishes him all the very best for a long, happy and well-earned retirement.
