- Current status: Taken in the Chamber on Tuesday, 15 June 2021
As an amendment to motion S6M-00369 in the name of Maree Todd (Women’s Health), after “inequalities” insert "; recognises the need for dedicated facilities for perinatal loss, with a standard of care equivalent to that provided to patients undergoing labour and delivery; understands that, while guidance from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommends that dedicated facilities are made available, provision is not yet always possible; believes that, alongside greater support for perinatal mental health, ensuring separate facilities for perinatal loss should be prioritised in the current parliamentary session”.
