That the Parliament welcomes the efforts of [email protected], a Clackmannanshire-based service delivering affordable three-course meals to those aged over-65; recognises the efforts of the volunteers in providing this service, whose visits and delivering of meals help to both reduce isolation and provide an opportunity to check on the welfare of clients; notes that the future plans for The Gate include a lunch club and other ways of using meals to bring people together, promoting both a sense of community and good mental health, and looks forward to the time when such developments are possible.
