Active Communities Funding Award

That the Parliament congratulates Active Communities on its award of £730,000 from the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund; acknowledges that this will be used to fund the final phase of transforming the former Johnstone Police Station into a community-led health and wellbeing hub; recognises the importance of this new facility in increasing opportunities to improve health and wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation and provide employment opportunities for local people, and wishes the group all the very best with its future plans.
