That the Parliament commends Girlguiding Methlick and Methlick Scout Group on collaborating to help eradicate period poverty in their community; understands that a box of essentials has been made available for members of both organisations to get the products that they need while at their weekly meetings without the need to speak to one of the groups’ leaders; understands that 97% of the Girguiding senior section members felt that it was important to end period poverty and stigma over periods; applauds the Girguiding and Scout groups in Methlick for taking this action, and wishes all involved well.
