Heriot-Watt University is First to be Awarded the Sunday Times International University of the Year Award

That the Parliament is delighted that Heriot-Watt University is the first university to be awarded the Sunday Times International University of the Year Award; notes that its two major campuses in Dubai and Malaysia continue to go from strength to strength and attract talented students from Scotland to study abroad; believes that the award reflects the university’s success at attracting students from across the international community, creating a distinct university experience and providing a springboard for students to have an international career; highlights that the university’s degree programmes are delivered to 30,000 students in 150 countries around the world, which are complemented by distance learning programmes and an innovative Approved Learning Partner network in 35 countries, and wishes the university, its staff and students continued success in its global ambitions.
