That the Parliament congratulates Inverkeithing, Dunfermline and Alloa on their achievements at the 2017 Beautiful Scotland Awards; understands that Inverkeithing won the Inverflora Best Small Town award and that Dunfermline in Bloom and Alloa attained Silver Gilt medals; notes that community groups, local authorities and businesses from across Scotland gathered in Dunfermline on 7 September to celebrate the annual awards, which were hosted by Fife Council and were organised by Keep Scotland Beautiful; acknowledges the recognition of the work undertaken in communities throughout the country to help deliver environmental improvements; notes that Beautiful Scotland is a flagship programme of Keep Scotland Beautiful, which is a long-established community environmental improvement campaign that is managed in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS); acknowledges that the programme supports community groups that seek to improve and enhance their environment through the three core pillars of horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation; commends the dedication and achievements of the volunteers who develop their communities; believes that such work is good for people's health, wealth and happiness, and wishes all of the winners the very best of luck at the RHS UK Britain in Bloom finals, which will take place between the regional and national winners from 18 areas across the UK.
