That the Parliament welcomes the new parent hub at Lhanbryde Primary School, which was officially opened by four-year-old nursery pupil, Ethan Wilson; understands that the flying start initiative puts parents at the heart of the facility providing them with packs that can be completed at home with their children; commends headteacher, Gillian Ross, and nursery teacher, Sandy Millican, for developing the concept, which is understood to be the only one of its type in Moray; believes that the school was successful in applying for funding to transform the old ICT suite into the hub, which aims to give children the help that they need to prepare for school by raising attainment levels of nursery children so that they have a better start in P1 and future years; commends everyone involved in this innovative project, and wishes it every success for the future.
