That the Parliament congratulates Elgin High School in Moray, which has received a British Council International School Award; understands that this award is for teaching global citizenship across the curriculum; notes that it is managed by the British Council and that the award is a supportive and motivational framework that guides schools through their international work; believes that it encourages a forging of links with partner schools around the world, enhancing the curriculum and preparing students for life as global citizens, which was demonstrated most recently by the school hosting students and teachers from the Mukonchi High School in Zambia, and wishes the staff and pupils under the leadership of the head teacher, Andy Simpson, continued success for the future.
