That the Parliament congratulates Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) on the success of its annual Fife Funders’ Fayre, which was held at Fife College’s St Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy; understands that the event brought together hundreds of representatives from community groups, charities, social enterprises and other third sector organisations from across Fife to explore funding opportunities, access expert advice and build valuable connections; notes that participating funders included the National Lottery, the Robertson Trust, Corra Foundation and Creative Scotland, alongside specialist support from organisations, including OSCR and Volunteer Scotland; recognises what it sees as the importance of the event in providing practical workshops covering funding applications, cyber security, PVG and Disclosure updates and evaluating the impact of funded projects; commends FVA for its continued commitment to strengthening Fife’s third sector by encouraging collaboration, the sharing of knowledge and helping local organisations access the resources they need; acknowledges the vital contribution that voluntary and community organisations make to improving lives across Fife, and wishes FVA and all those involved continued success in supporting thriving and resilient communities.
