That the Parliament recognises the vital work of Glasgow North East Foodbank and the Trussell Trust in supporting people and families experiencing food insecurity; thanks Foodbank Manager, Daniele Cardoso, and all the volunteers for their dedication and tireless work supporting the community; commends the generosity of local donors; notes the continuing need for emergency food support, and calls on the Scottish Government to take action to address the underlying causes of food poverty and to support households facing financial hardship.
