That the Parliament congratulates Fife College on being shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 College Development Network (CDN) College Awards; notes that the college has been shortlisted for the Research and Innovation Award for its Trauma-Informed by Design programme and for the Learning and Teaching Award for its Transforming Curriculum Through Live Broadcast project, delivered in partnership with the University of St Andrews Music Department; understands that the Trauma-Informed by Design programme has embedded research- and trauma-informed practice across the college and has contributed to successful student completion rates reaching an eight-year high and early withdrawal rates falling to their lowest level over the same period; further understands that the live broadcast project provides sound production and media and communications students with practical industry experience by working alongside the University of St Andrews Music Department to deliver more than 30 live concert broadcasts each year; notes that Fife College’s submissions were selected from 195 entries from across Scotland’s college sector; recognises what it sees as the hard work, innovation and dedication of the staff and students involved in both projects, and wishes Fife College every success when the winners are announced at the CDN College Awards ceremony in Glasgow on 3 December 2026.
