That the Parliament congratulates The Kings Arms Community Pub and Hub in Ballantrae on winning the Plunkett UK Team Spirit Award; recognises the importance of the pub and hub to residents and to the economic welfare of the Ballantrae community, including through supporting tourism and local activities; acknowledges the Plunkett Foundation's report that community-owned pubs have a five-year survival rate of 99%, compared with 39% for privately owned pubs, and commends the determination of people in Ballantrae and their commitment to securing a sustainable future and fostering a strong sense of community spirit through The Kings Arms.
