Welcoming the Opening of RAFAKidz Kinloss

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of RAFAKidz Kinloss at Kinloss Barracks, the first RAFAKidz nursery in Scotland; understands that the nursery will provide high quality, flexible childcare tailored to the unique needs of armed forces families, while also serving civilian families in the wider Moray area; recognises the particular challenges that service personnel and their families can face in accessing consistent childcare due to the demands of military life, including deployments, irregular working patterns and frequent relocations; notes that the nursery caters for children from four months to five years old, with plans to expand its space in order to accommodate more children under two; believes that accessible and reliable childcare plays a vital role in supporting family wellbeing and helping service personnel carry out their duties with confidence; congratulates RAFAKidz and all those involved in bringing the service to fruition, and wishes the staff, children and their families all the best for the future.
