That the Parliament congratulates Sanday-based small business, 59 Degrees North, on being named Most Scenic Dining and Visitor Experience 2026 in the SME News UK Enterprise Awards; understands that 59 Degrees North is a family-run business operating in Sanday, one of Orkney's north isles, since 2021, which includes the most northerly wood-fired pizzeria in the UK, Orkney's first motorhome Aire, a design and print studio, and a self-catering crofter's cottage set to open later this summer; understands that, in addition to stopping in for the delicious food and treats, locals and visitors alike are drawn to the business for its stunning location, which is situated in 8 acres of wildflower meadow and features panoramic views out across the sea; acknowledges that, in addition to this year's SME News UK Enterprise Award, 59 Degrees North has previously won the 2022 Destination Orkney Tourism Award for the most innovative visitor experience, the 2024 Scottish Enterprise Award for best casual dining experience, and the 2025 Scottish Enterprise Award for pizzeria of the year, among other accolades; commends the owners and operators of 59 Degrees North, Jon and Clare Chapman, as well as their entire team, for all of the hard work they put in to building a memorable customer and guest experience in what is a very special corner of Orkney; further congratulates them on this well-deserved award and wishes them all the very best and every success for the future.
