That the Parliament congratulates Katie Coward, who is from Orkney, on being awarded the Cubitt Bar Award in recognition of her 50 years of dedicated service with The Pony Club, which is an international voluntary organisation that provides young people with the opportunity to develop equestrian skills and knowledge through participation in sport, training and non-riding activities; understands that the Cubitt Bar awards are named after the late Hon. Guy Cubitt, who served as chairman of The Pony Club from 1945 to 1970, and that these awards serve to recognise individuals who have volunteered for 30, 40 or 50 years with it; believes that Katie has been a stalwart of the Orkney equestrian community, where she currently serves as the District Commissioner of the Orkney Branch of The Pony Club; further believes that, over the course of her service, she has supported countless young people and their families during their equestrian journeys; commends Katie for her many years of teaching, encouraging and inspiring Orkney's youth and for promoting the fantastic horsemanship learning opportunities offered by The Pony Club; congratulates her on this well-deserved award, and wishes Katie, and everyone at the Orkney Branch of The Pony Club, all the best for the future.
