That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdour Hotel on being named Best Independent Hotel Restaurant at Scotland’s Business Awards in June 2026; understands that the hotel was a coaching inn in the 17th century and has remained a pillar of the community ever since; recognises that it has undergone several renovations, including during the Victorian era and in more recent years, and now offers up to 16 guest rooms; commends the exceptional quality of service that has led to the hotel being nominated for this award by members of the local community; acknowledges the significant cultural and historical heritage preserved by the hotel across many generations, and wishes the current owners every success in maintaining and enhancing this heritage in the years to come.
