That the Parliament congratulates Kirkwall respite facility, Aurrida House, on its fancy dress event, which has raised over £5,000 to date; recognises that this fundraising initiative comes after a generous donation was made to Aurrida House in memory of the late Kirkwall businessman Victor Chase; understands that Aurrida House provides vital support for young people with additional needs and their families; acknowledges that the money raised will go towards buying play equipment for the service users, including a swing set and climbing frame; further acknowledges that the funds raised are still being counted and that the final total will be announced in due course; thanks all those who donated money to the cause, and hopes that users of Aurrida House and their families have a lot of fun using the new equipment.
