That the Parliament congratulates Grant Gillies on his dedicated service as Head Teacher at South Morningside Primary School as he moves on to Dunbar Primary; recognises Grant's continuous effort that has led to upgraded buildings and improved facilities at the school; appreciates that he has been a continuous breath of fresh air and integral part of the local community; commends him on leading the school to be shortlisted for TES Primary School of the Year award in 2024 as well as the introduction of new astroturf pitches and floodlights; appreciates all the work he has done for the community, and wishes Grant well in his new post at Dunbar Primary, on behalf of all the parents, pupils and staff, who will miss him greatly.
