King’s Birthday Honours Across Banffshire and Kincardineshire

That the Parliament congratulates Charles Milne and Christopher Bird on each being appointed an MBE, John Grant on being appointed an OBE and Mary McGregor on being awarded a BEM in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2026; highlights their significant contributions to Banffshire and Kincardineshire across a wide range of specialities; understands that Charles, from Buckie, has been recognised for services to business and community development, and Christopher, from Banchory, for services to the energy transition and community development; acknowledges that John, from Moray, has been recognised for services to the Scotch whisky industry and to charity, and that Mary, from Keith, has been recognised for services to Girlguiding and to the Church of Scotland Guild; recognises the impact that each has made in their respective field, and thanks them for their service to the community.
