That the Parliament congratulates Burghead Primary School on the celebration of its 150th anniversary; recognises the efforts of pupils, staff, parents and the wider community in marking this important milestone with Victorian themed events reflecting the school's history; notes that the weeks leading up to the celebration provided an opportunity for pupils to learn about life at the school in the past, including from a former pupil who attended in the 1930s; acknowledges the important role that rural schools play in sustaining rural communities; commends all those involved in organising the anniversary activities, and wishes Burghead Primary School and all its pupils continued success for the future.
