Congratulating Anita Park on Her Retirement from Stromness Community Centre

That the Parliament congratulates Anita Park on her retirement from Stromness Community Centre after 36 years of dedicated service; understands that Anita has recently stepped down as centre supervisor, and that during her career, she has been a stalwart of the Stromness community, contributing to the growth of the centre and establishing its role as an inclusive and supportive hub for the public; recognises that in her role with the centre, Anita provided invaluable support to local organisations, coordinated engaging activities for the public and fostered a welcoming environment that brought people of all ages and backgrounds together; offers particular thanks for helping to host regular MSP and MP advice surgeries, complete with a mug of coffee and the occasional chocolate bar; thanks Anita for her many years of incredible service to Stromness and the wider Orkney community, and wishes her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
