That the Parliament congratulates two youth drama teams from Orkney, the Birsay Drama Group and the Stromness Academy Players, on achieving first and second place in the Northern Divisional Youth Final of the Scottish Community Drama Association's (SCDA) one act play competition in Blairgowrie; understands that the Birsay Drama Group earned first place with its production of Wannabes by Emilia O'Donoghue, and will be going on to the Scottish Youth Final on 13 June 2026 in Perth; notes that the Stromness Academy Players' production of How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery by Don Zolidis earned it second place overall in the competition; recognises the incredible amount of time and effort put in by both teams in preparing for this final, resulting in their well-deserved success; further congratulates both teams and all those who participated in the Northern Divisional Youth Final on their fantastic efforts, and hopes that the Birsay Drama Group "break a leg" at the Scottish Youth Final in June.
