Thanks to Emergency Service Workers Following the Fire at Forsyth House, Glasgow

That the Parliament expresses its sincere thanks and gratitude to the emergency service workers who responded to the major fire at Forsyth House on Union Street in Glasgow city centre on 8 March 2026; recognises the courage, professionalism and dedication shown by firefighters, police officers, ambulance staff and all supporting personnel who worked tirelessly throughout the incident; acknowledges the efforts of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews who battled the blaze for many hours in challenging and dangerous conditions; commends the coordinated response of all emergency services in protecting the public and preventing further harm, and places on record its appreciation for the commitment of these workers who put themselves at risk to keep others safe.
