That the Parliament congratulates pupils from Glasgow schools who hosted and guided visitors through the Anne Frank + You exhibition at the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art in Glasgow, an exhibition designed to educate audiences about the life, diary and legacy of Anne Frank and to promote equality and challenge prejudice in society; understands that these young people took on the important role of peer guides and ambassadors, engaging thoughtfully with difficult historical subject matter and conveying its contemporary relevance; recognises the dedication and maturity shown by pupils in delivering tours, facilitating discussion and fostering understanding among visitors of all ages; notes that the exhibition and its presentation by young people reflect a commitment within Glasgow’s education community to promoting respect, diversity and social justice, and acknowledges the contribution made by these pupils in encouraging greater awareness of human rights, inclusion and the importance of learning from history.
