  • Date lodged: Monday, 02 March 2026
  • Motion type: Standard Motion
  • Motion reference: S6M-20946

That the Parliament recognises the contribution of the Disabled Children and Young People’s Advisory Group (DCYPAG); acknowledges the value of such a forum in amplifying the experiences of disabled children, young people and their families; notes that the DCYPAG is an independent forum, formed in 2012, which has provided advice and lived experience testimonies on many of Scotland’s key policy developments that have impacted children and young people in general, and disabled children and young people in particular, and acknowledges what it sees as the need to engage with the DCYPAG to explore ways in which the work of the group can be sustained to the benefit of disabled children and young people living in local communities all over Scotland.
