That the Parliament celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Standing Committee of the Association of Anaesthetists; recognises the committee’s longstanding contribution to supporting anaesthetists across Scotland; acknowledges its work in promoting patient safety, advancing clinical standards and providing leadership in education, training and research; pays tribute to the dedication of its members, past and present, in representing the profession and advocating understanding of perioperative care; notes the crucial role that anaesthetists play within NHS Scotland, and wishes the Association of Anaesthetists and its Scottish Standing Committee continued success in their work to enhance the wellbeing of patients and clinicians across the country.
