That the Parliament congratulates Commodore Sharon Malkin on being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the King's New Year Honours List; understands that this is in recognition of Commodore Malkin's personal contribution and leadership during her career in the Royal Navy, which spans three decades; recognises that Commodore Malkin has been very skilled in her career and has managed to set out a clear long-term vision for HM Naval Base Clyde; notes that Commodore Malkin will retire after 32 years of service, and wishes her well in the future.
