That the Parliament welcomes the £70,000 in climate grants awarded from the Fife Climate Hub to 35 Fife community groups; understands that the funding forms part of the Community Climate Grants scheme, a joint initiative between the Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife, and will support grassroots projects that tackle the climate emergency and deliver practical action for climate and nature, while also supporting community wellbeing and resilience; welcomes that £50,000 comes from the Seed and Development Fund from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, in addition to £20,000 provided by the Scottish Government; notes that the St Andrews Environmental Network (StAndEN) will use its funding to support Floor It Forwards, and that the East Wemyss CAFE (Community Access For Everyone) will use its funding to work with Rebel Larder to improve local land connection and food security; understands that the Foodbank Community Support Project received funding to create an edible commemorative garden space; acknowledges that other groups to receive funding include Aberdour Climate Action Network, Greener Kirkcaldy, Kinghorn Community Land Association (KCLA), The Ecology Centre, Vegan Fife, CLEAR Buckhaven and Methil, Footprint East Neuk, Seafield Environmental Group, Big Green Market, Methilhill Children's Community Initiative, The Hive Kirkcaldy, Burnturk and Kettlehill Community Trust, Kirkcaldy Islamic Centre, Dunnikier Country Park Development Group, Forgan Arts Centre, Floral Action Burntisland, and Nourish Support Centre; is very grateful to all the organisations, groups, staff and volunteers for their hard work and contributions, and extends its very best wishes to everyone for the future.
