That the Parliament congratulates Jen Hardy MBE on being awarded an honorary doctorate from Heriot-Watt University; understands that Jen founded the charity, Cancer Card, in 2017, following her diagnosis of stage 4 incurable breast cancer; acknowledges that Cancer Card created an umbrella organisation for cancer support charities with an online directory, which means that no one in Scotland needs to go through cancer alone; realises that Cancer Card has expanded to include initiatives such as a digital inclusion programme and a comfort box scheme; acknowledges that, as well as founding Cancer Card, Jen successfully campaigned for the life-extending drug, pertuzumab (Perjeta), to be made available on the NHS in Scotland; recognises the extensive work that Jen has done to support people in Scotland diagnosed with cancer, and wishes Jen continued success with Cancer Card.
