That the Parliament congratulates Auchinairn Afterschool Care and Forest School, which is in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency, on being named Forest Kindergarten of the Year at the prestigious 25th National NMT Nursery Awards; understands that the awards, which were held on 8 November 2025 at the Park Plaza Hotel in London, recognise excellence in the UK's early years sector; commends Auchinairn Forest School for providing high quality outdoor learning rooted in nature, helping children to grow through exploration, connection and care for the world around them, whilst also supporting essential skills in communication, early numeracy, science and social development; notes that the woodland at Auchinairn Forest School is more than a place to learn, it is also a community where children can discover who they are and get help to develop a lifelong love of nature, and expresses enormous gratitude to the many early years educators in Strathkelvin and Bearsden and beyond whose nurturing and teaching expertise help build the foundational skills children need to thrive and succeed.
