That the Parliament welcomes the news that members of Bridge of Allan Rotary Club were out at Strathcarron Hospice recently to drop off a fundraising cheque for the local good cause; understands that £15,520 was raised by members of the Rotary at the club’s 39th annual Am-am golfing day, which was held at Dunblane Golf Club earlier in 2025; believes that the event brought together supporters from the local area for a day of fun in support of the valuable work of the hospice; acknowledges that the fundraising effort highlights the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and making a positive difference in the community; considers that the sum raised will contribute to the hospice’s mission of providing compassionate care for those in need; acknowledges the Rotary Club and extends its gratitude to Dunblane Golf Club, all participants, sponsors and volunteers who made the 39th Am-am golfing day what it sees as a resounding success; looks forward to the 40th year of the event in 2026, and commends everyone involved on their highly magnanimous endeavours in raising such a large sum of donations.
