That the Parliament congratulates Networking Key Services Ltd (NKS) on being awarded £19,875 by the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that NKS intends to use the money for a pilot project engaging South Asian autistic children, young people and their carers through peer support, 1:1 advocacy and awareness-exchanging advocacy sessions in Edinburgh; believes that the story of NKS is an inspiring one, beginning as a support group for Bangladeshi women in 1987 and growing into a registered charity that now provides a wide variety of support services for women and their families across the city, including a carers forum, education and training, English classes, health advocacy, a nursery and work placements; celebrates NKS for its service to Edinburgh since 1987, and looks forward to witnessing the success of the new project supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
