That the Parliament welcomes funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust for its project, Steady Strides; understands that the funding will support a partnership with Minds & Manes to provide six equestrian sessions for 12 children and young people in Perth and Kinross in the spring of 2026; recognises that horses can be a great tool in supporting wellbeing and that the project aims to offer the young people an opportunity to gain new skills, confidence, self-esteem and emotional regulation, all while spending time outdoors and appreciating nature, offering a positive impact; extends its very best wishes for the success of the project, and thanks everyone involved with it on their hard work to deliver the project
