Inverclyde Employers Receive MoD Accolade

That the Parliament congratulates Blairs Windows & Doors and McGill’s Buses, two Inverclyde-based employers, on receiving the prestigious Silver Award under the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme; notes that this award is the second-highest honour available to organisations that demonstrate outstanding support for reservists, service leavers, veterans, and their families; understands that both companies have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, committing to provide opportunities and advocacy for defence personnel; commends their efforts to create inclusive workplaces that accommodate reservists and recognise the sacrifices made by those who serve, and celebrates the positive example these employers set in Inverclyde by supporting Scotland’s Armed Forces community.
