That the Parliament acknowledges that the week beginning 27 October 2025 heralds the 45th anniversary of the Eric Liddell Community (ELC) in Edinburgh; understands that for the last 45 years, the ELC, which was formerly called the Eric Liddell Centre, has provided vital support to people living with dementia and unpaid carers and has served as a welcoming community hub; recognises that the ELC is committed to a vision in which people live in a community where no one feels lonely or isolated; notes that the event is being marked by a special evening featuring musical performances by pupils from James Gillespie's and Boroughmuir high schools, to which the community, friends and supporters of the ELC are invited, and wishes the ELC all the very best for the event and in the future.
