Celebrating the 100th Birthday of Dalry’s Robert Anderson

That the Parliament congratulates Robert Anderson, of Dalry, on celebrating his 100th birthday on 27 October 2025; notes that Robert was born in Skelmorlie in 1925, the second youngest of eight children, and spent his early years in North Ayrshire before moving to Lochwinnoch for work; notes his marriage to Margaret, becoming stepfather to John and welcoming daughter Susan in 1979, and recognises the joy brought by his five grandchildren, Leanne, Heather, Audrey, Rebekah and Robbie; acknowledges Robert’s long-standing tenancy at Morris Court, Dalry, and his passion for bowling, having played in Lochwinnoch and later in Dalry; commends the community celebration held in his honour, and wishes Robert continued happiness and good health.
