That the Parliament believes that poverty among pensioners is a significant and growing problem in Scotland; welcomes Independent Age’s manifesto, Security not Struggle; notes the call within that manifesto for strategic, comprehensive and well-resourced policy interventions to tackle pensioner poverty, and champions the implementation of effective policies to tackle poverty among pensioners during this and the next parliamentary session.
