That the Parliament congratulates EGG Lighting, based in Glasgow, on winning the Glasgow Business Award for Most Outstanding Business; recognises the company's innovative approach to sustainable lighting solutions, including its pioneering remanufacturing process that has repurposed over 1,000 lighting fixtures, reducing carbon emissions by 60 tonnes; understands that EGG Lighting's commitment to the circular economy and net zero targets aligns with Glasgow's environmental goals, and acknowledges what it believes to be the company's significant contribution to the city's green economy and its role in setting a benchmark for sustainable business practices.
