That the Parliament recognises the centenary of the invention of television by John Logie Baird, of Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute; celebrates the centenary of the first successful transmission on 2 October 1925 and the first public demonstration on 26 January 1926, and sends its good wishes to the people of Helensburgh celebrating John Logie Baird’s momentous invention that changed the world.
