That the Parliament welcomes the publication of the Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre Report 2024–25 by the Bethany Christian Trust; commends the Centre for what it sees as its vital contribution in providing emergency accommodation and support to people experiencing homelessness in Edinburgh; notes that, over 181 nights of operation, the Centre supported 618 people with private ensuite rooms and 24/7 care; recognises the extraordinary commitment of the 42 volunteer teams, which served over 23,000 meals; notes the collaborative work of 41 partner organisations in delivering holistic support, including healthcare, housing advice and addiction services; welcomes the finding that 99% of known outcomes were positive for those who engaged with the Centre; acknowledges the dedication of staff, volunteers and partners in delivering safety, dignity and hope to some of the most vulnerable people in society, and wishes the Bethany Christian Trust the well for the year ahead.
