Impact Arts, Irvine, Launches Impactful Parents Programme

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Impactful Parents, a new employability programme by Impact Arts designed to support unemployed or economically struggling parents and caregivers in North Ayrshire; notes that the programme, running from 22 September to 18 November 2025 at Bank Street, Irvine, combines creative activities such as painting, drawing and crafting with career development support, including CV writing, interview skills and the opportunity to gain the SQA Communications Unit qualification; recognises that the programme also offers one-to-one wellbeing support, childcare-friendly hours, free lunch and travel expenses, ensuring accessibility; notes the provision of taster sessions in Dalry, Kilwinning, Stevenston and Irvine, and commends Impact Arts for providing a supportive and innovative approach to building confidence, skills and opportunities for parents across North Ayrshire.
