That the Parliament congratulates Wim Moore, a P7 pupil at Shapinsay Community School, on winning a gold award in the Scottish Mathematical Challenge 2025, which was run by the University of Aberdeen; understands that, in order to win this award, Wim had to individually finish a set of maths problems and had to clarify his workings for each problem; further understands that Wim had to travel down to Aberdeen to collect his gold award; commends Wim for all of his hard work in winning this outstanding award; wishes Wim every success in his future as a budding mathematician, and encourages more pupils across the country to take up the Scottish Mathematical Challenge in the future.
