Refuelling of US Air Force Aircrafts at Prestwick Airport

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Government on the reported refuelling of four United States Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircrafts at the publicly owned Prestwick Airport between 16 and 18 June 2025; commends the Scottish Ministers for what it sees as their demonstration of support of the United States and Israel in allowing this refuelling action to take place; understands that these air-to-air tankers could play an important role in any upcoming conflict in Iran; believes that Iran can never and should never possesses a nuclear weapon; notes what it considers to be the economic benefit that the United States military has brought and continues to bring to Scotland; recognises what it sees as the important global role that Scotland and the UK can play in supporting their allies and democracy around the globe; applauds what it considers to be the bravery of the airmen and women of aircrafts RCH035, RCH036, RCH037 and RCH038, and wishes them the very best of luck in any upcoming operations in the Middle East.
