That the Parliament congratulates Mr Edward Tsang, of the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Scotland, who was delighted to support Mr Shabir Beg OBE, of Saltire and Alam, with his free food distribution service, especially in relation to the Chinese Communities Food Bank and Pantry initiatives in the Glasgow Anniesland constituency, and soon Scotland; further congratulates the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs for reaching out to its members and the wider Chinese diaspora in Scotland to make them aware of this worthy proposal to assist in tackling the cost of living crisis, which, it believes, is impacting the worst-off disproportionately; notes the trial involvement from both organisations, supported by the Sichuan House and Canton Lane restaurants in Glasgow, to distribute healthy Chinese meals around the Glasgow Anniesland constituency; understands that it was highly successful in achieving both groups' goals and was received with gusto from both individuals and families, who, in their current circumstances, would not otherwise be able to purchase delicious, healthy Chinese cuisine in their regular weekly shop, and welcomes their plans to expand this generous and philanthropic offer around the country.
