That the Parliament congratulates MG ALBA, Black Camel Pictures and the partners behind the BBC ALBA crime thriller, An t-Eilean (The Island), for winning the Drama and Entertainment award at the international TV awards, Prix CIRCOM 2025; notes that judges from across 15 European regional public service broadcasters came together to select the winner in a prestigious peer-recognising award; further notes that the award will be officially presented at the gala award ceremony at the CIRCOM Annual Conference in Barcelona on 22 May 2025; believes that winning a top European award will promote the Gaelic language and bring welcome attention to the variety and quality of entertainment in Gaelic language broadcasting, and congratulates Screen Scotland and the BBC on continuing to support Gaelic drama, and especially the production of An t-Eilean.
